As the earliest civil fabric association in China, DECORATIVE FABRIC ASSOCIATION OF GUANGDONG PROVINCE was established in 1996. This Association was generated by major famous fabric enterprises in Guangdong province and composed of many enterprises or units in fabrics & decoration. These enterprises are dealing with fabric designing, manufacturing, trading as well as interior decoration. With more than 7 years history, the ASSOCIATION are mainly focus on the following :
. To promote communication and cooperation between the membership units each other.
. To promote the membership to develop their business for improving themselves’  marketing ability and products quality.
. To organize many events in technology, economic communication and cooperation.

The ASSOCIATION organize the fabric trade show in March 18-21 and August 18-21 each year in Guangzhou (Location: China Export Commodities Fair hall). This trade show is developing as the communication platform for many home textile and decorative fabric enterprises.
The ASSOCIATION is also one of the host for famous magazine DECORATIVE FARIC WORLD in China, which leads the technology development and marketing trend  in decoration fabric field.
The ASSOCIATION also organize the memberships to exhibit in Heimtextile in Frankurt (January) and InterTEXTILE in SHANGHAI (October), both hosted by InterStoff Frankurft. In cooperate with CCPIT (China Council for the Promotion of International Trade), the ASSOCIATION organize one delegation to visit Middle Europe, Western Europe and Northern Europe in January and October for marketing survey, which promote the communication between the membership and foreign market.
The membership units leads the marketing trend in China, and many fabric products have already exported to South Asia, Australia, Middle East and some European country as well as American country. The total annual sales value comes up to 80 million US dollars. The ASSOCIATION shoulder up the obligation to lead the membership to compete in the world market for more benefit.
In sep.2004, The ASSOCIATION had changed her name, calling GUANGDONG HOMETEXTE ASSOCIATION.
